WARRANTY STATEMENT

GENERAL

1. J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS  offer  an  unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects  on all  products purchased from   J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS  .  This  warranty  does  not  limit  the  rights  of  the  consumer  and  is  in  addition  to  them.

2. The  warranty  commences  on  the  date  of  first  installation  of  the  part.

3. This  is  not  a  “no  quibble”  warranty  --  all  warranty  claims  are  subject  to  return  and  inspection  at  our  discretion  and  must  be  submitted  in  accordance  with  the  companies  procedures.  A  commercial  decision  will  be  made  on  the acceptance of the claim.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All  J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS  products  fitted   for the correct application  are covered against  manufacturing  defects  for  12 to 36  months from  date  of  first fitting  to  removal  depending  on  the  particular  product.

2. The  warranty  only  extends to  goods originally  supplied by J & S AUTOMOTIVE DISTRIBUTORS Proof  of  this  may  be  requested

3. The warranty  applies  to  all  products  which are  correctly  selected  from    J & S AUTOMOTIVE DISTRIBUTORS  suppliers catalogues  and  are fitted  to  the  manufacturers  specifications.

4. The  warranty  covers  manufacturing  defects  only  and  not  general “wear and tear”  All  parts  must  be  replaced  in  accordance  with  the vehicle  manufacturers   recommended  service  schedule.

5. The  warranty  does  not  cover  the  replacement  of  any  part  damaged  as  a  result  of  incorrect  fitment, misuse, improper  maintenance, or  failure  of  any other  product  for  which J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS  is  not  responsible.

6. The  warranty  does  not  cover  any  vehicle  recovery  or  transportation  charges,  nor  does  it  apply  to  any  personal  transport,  accommodation  or  any  other  costs  incurred  by  the  vehicle  owner,  user  and/or  passengers  as  a  result  of   the  malfunction/failure  of  a  part  supplied  by   J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS .

7. J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS  reserve  the right  to  reject  warranty  claims  where the  vehicle  in question   has  been  used  for  any  form  of  racing,  time  trial,  track  day  or  any  other  activity  that  can  fairly  be  described  as being  outside  normal  use.

8. Warranty  claims  on  all   J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS   products  must  be  made  via  the  distributor   who  supplied the  product  in  accordance  with   J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS  warranty  procedures.  Any  settlement  will  be  made  to  our  distributor  and  not  to the end  user.
   
   The  product  should  then  be  returned  to  J & S AUTOMOTIVE  DISTRIBUTORS   for  inspection.  Valid  claims  will  be  reimbursed  at  the  original  cost  of the  defective  part.  Any  directly  associated  labour  costs  will  be  paid  at  the  current  labour  rates  and  based  on  repair  times  as  specified  by  the  vehicle  manufacturer.

9. All  paperwork  relating  to  any  claim  must  be  fully  and  accurately  completed.  Any discrepancies  or  incomplete  paperwork  will  result  in  a  delay  in  processing  your  claim  and  may  ultimately  lead  to  rejection.
