Grilles

Car grilles are generally situated on the front of the vehicle between the headlights in order to let air into the engine at the same time as protecting it. Another possible grille location is below the bumper in front of the wheels; these grilles allow air to the brakes.
As well as functionality, certain styles of car grille can become defining features of certain models of car, such as the old style Jaguar E type front grille.
